Caitlyn Jenner might be contesting for office

The Hollywood and politics have always gone hand in hand. Famous Hollywood actors such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Clint Eastwood, and Shirley Temple Black are all actor-politician. The latest name that might soon be joining this list is Caitlyn Jenner. Back in April, Jenner expressed her choice of running for the office and is now considering running for the US Senate to represent California.

Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner is a gold-winning American Olympian decathlon champion. Before undergoing gender change, Caitlyn was married to Kris Jenner (second wife). She fathered six children including Kylie and Kendall Jenner. Along with the Kardashians, Caitlyn has appeared on several seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. She is said to be most close with Kim Kardashian West out of the three sisters.

In 2015 when Caitlyn officially transformed, she said that for all intents and purposes, she is a woman.  After her transformation, Caitlyn has become the most famous and active transgender celebrity and is an advocate for transgender rights. After turning transgender, Caitlyn has starred in her own E! reality show – I am Cait and also makes appearances on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Caitlyn who is a supporter of Donald Trump said in a radio interview with New York’s AM 970 on Sunday that she has considered it and has a keen interest in politics. The 67-year old who is conservative Christian said that she will make her decision within the next six months.

The transgender activist is still in search of a better job where she can work from outside, interact freely with everyone but work alongside politics. Even though the transgender activist is a Trump supporter she disagreed with the president’s bathroom policies for transgender. Caitlyn is working towards making Republican a more LGBT oriented organization.

California Republican is known for electing celebrities. Some of the famous names include President Donald Trump himself (business tycoon by profession), former Governor Ronald Reagan, former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and former Carmel Mayor Clint Eastwood.

Another name that might add to the list is that of Dwayne Rock Johnson. He recently filed his candidacy with Federal Election Commission (FEC) for 2020 presidential elections. The papers were filed on behalf of the wrestler-turned-actor by Kenton Tilford from West Virginia.
