5. The spoils of war
This picture was taken in Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia. In the photo, you can see a woman lying next to her beloved who served in the U.S. Army. This is one of the harsh realities of waging a war. Although most of us are safe and comfortable in our homes, there are people in the front line of duty risking their lives for our protection.
