While some of the richest women in the world were born into money, they all don’t act like Paris Hilton. Contrary to what you might think, there are rich women in the world who don’t feel like they have to flaunt their wealth in order to stay relevant. These wealthy women were born with a silver spoon in their mouths, but are also hard working business people that have earned their way to the top.
25. Lydia Hearst – $100 million
Lydia Hearst is a filthy rich, gorgeous model, blogger and philanthropist. She is a Smile Ambassador for Operation Smile and the heiress to a publication empire that began with her great-grandfather, William Randolph Hearst. She used to write for Page Six, has a good amount of movie credits under her belt and is currently engaged to Chris Hardwick.

When Gianni Versace died in 1997, his sister Donatella inherited the Versace fashion house. After giving away 70 percent of her wealth to her daughter and her other brother, Donatella was left with $200 million in the bank. She’s pushing through the real estate market in Dubai and married a model. Not bad, eh?

Despite being named heir to the Sarofim family fortune, Allison Sarofim is more interested in filmmaking. She starred in and produced “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” She is known for throwing wild, lavish Halloween parties every year where she dresses up in elaborate costumes. Unfortunately, with her plastic looking features, she may end up having to continue producing her own movies if she wants to be recognized as an actress.

Anna Anissimova is the Russian version of Paris Hilton because she was born into immense wealth, but is more known for being a celebrity than having any sort of real career. After her sister was killed, she was sent packing by her father to the United States and along with her, a giant trust fund. When Anna failed at modeling, she dropped out of college and decided to try her hand at acting. Now married to film producer Peter Schafer, she has gotten her starring role in a number of flicks. More noble than being known for being the Russian Paris Hilton is that Anna actually wants to achieve success of her own and not have it handed to her on a silver platter.

The Getty oil fortune is nothing to sneeze at and Anna Getty knows that better than anyone. She’s the heiress to the Getty mountain of cash, but she works as a yoga instructor after trying her hand at being an actress. Anna also works hard to promote active lifestyles in others along with healthy eating habits.

Liesel Pritzker Simmons is an actress, heiress to the Hyatt Hotels fortune and a philanthropist. As an actress, she starred alongside Harrison Ford in “Air Force One” and appeared as Scout in “To Kill a Mockingbird.” Due to many complications with her inheritances, she ended up suing her family when they tried to cut her and her brother out of the action. Now, she does charity work along with her husband dealing with waste water.

Ivanka Trump is the daughter of hotel magnate and current Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. She must’ve picked up some of her father’s love for business because she graduated from Wharton School of Business summa cum laude. She has even starred alongside dear old dad on the small screen on “The Apprentice” and has fired people from the show, as well.

Heiress to the Estee Lauder fortune, Aerin Lauder Zinterhofer is also the style and image director for the brand. While in college, she worked at the company as a general associate, but kept her eye on the prize and learned all of the ins and outs of the business.
17. Tamara Ecclestone Rutland – $3.6 billion
The daughter of Formula One billionaire Bernie Ecclestone, Tamara Ecclestone Rutland is now heiress to the billion dollar business. She became a host and presenter for the brand’s events and later married Jonathan Ketterman. In 2013, she broke things off with Ketterman after it was discovered that he was trying to blackmail her. She later married Jay Rutland and has done the reality TV thing along with posing for Playboy magazine.

Sir Richard Branson’s daughter Holly is the new face of the Virgin Group which is comprised of over 400 companies. She currently travels the world as a humanitarian, but also finished med school prior to her involvement in her father’s company. She now has two twins, Etta and Artie, born in December 2014, but we don’t see that slowing her down anytime soon.

Jocelyn has become notorious on the internet for having more money than brains, since she is often referred to as the “Catwoman.” She has reportedly spent four million dollars on plastic surgeries and was told by the judge in her divorce case that she couldn’t spend any more money on surgeries. For walking in on her husband hooking up with a 19-year-old Russian model, she received $2.5 billion and $100 million yearly for 13 years. She was said to have altered her face to a more cat-like expression due to her ex-husband’s love of big cats.

Elizabeth Holmes took money that her parents saved up for her education and founded a company called Theranos. The company developed a blood testing device called Edison which was supposed to replace venipuncture. In 2014, Holmes ranked 110 on the Forbes 400 list and has since topped the list of America’s self-made women in 2015.

Dylan Lauren founded the world’s biggest candy store which is said to have over 7,000 different candies from all over the world. After seeing Willy Wonka at the age of five, Ralph Lauren’s daughter became inspired to create a giant candy shop. I guess when your father is a wealthy fashion designer, anything is possible.
12. Hind Hariri – $5.5 billion
After her father’s death, Hind Hariri tries to stay out of the limelight as much as humanly possible. Her father Rafic Hariri was the Prime Minister of Lebanon and rebuilt Beirut, but was killed by TNT which detonated on his vehicle. Now, his daughter campaigns for family members in Lebanese elections, but remains far removed from the action herself.

Josie is the daughter of gambling magnate Stanley Ho and the heiress to his immense fortune. He created a bunch of casinos in Macau and was richer than God before she was born. She tried her hand at being a singer and actress, but her dad didn’t support her personal decisions. We’re guessing that she’s not too keen on being related to someone who encourages gambling, but what do we know?
10. Alannah Weston – $7.9 billion
Heiress to the Weston family fortune, Alannah has taken a creative director position at Selfridges in 2004. Together with her family, Alannah and the Westons own a chain of retail stores and bakeries. The public has voted Selfridges the “World’s Best Department Store” due to the changes brought on by Alannah since she was named deputy chairman of Selfridges Group.

As the heiress to the Hearst Corporation, Amanda uses her wealth to raise awareness about how puppy mill dogs are treated. She started a company called Friends and Finn which preventions the mistreatment of these animals. She has also worked with a number of nonprofit organizations and works hard to promote her own positive message.

Samantha Kluge is the daughter of late Metromedia mogul John Kluge who was once referred to as the richest man in America. She was a bar hopper until she had her son, which caused her to want to settle down and play house with her ex-boyfriend Jayme Rosenthal. When she called time on their union, he promptly sued her for palimony and claimed he took care of her and her son. She later married Adam Cahan, but the marriage was annulled a year later.

Despite being the daughter of a New York mayor, Georgina Bloomberg was left alone by her father to pursue her love of horses. She later became a professional equestrian and married another professional equestrian named Ramiro Quintana.

Iris Fontbona is a Chilean business woman who inherited Antofagasta PLC upon her late husband’s passing. She controls the largest copper mines in the world, the world’s largest brewer, and largest shipping company. As of 2015, her net worth has been estimated at $13.5 billion and growing.
5. Christy Walton – $22.5 billion
Christy Walton is stinking rich because she is the widow of John Walton. If that name doesn’t ring a bell – John was the son of Sam Walton, founder of Walmart. In the United States, you can’t throw a rock without hitting a Walmart store. Some have said that their company vastly underpays their staff, but that’s best saved for another post.

Marta is the daughter of Inditex founder Amancio Ortega. He accumulated enough of a fortune to be considered the world’s richest man for four hours, displacing and being replaced by Bill Gates, naturally. She credits her vast fortune as a result of working her way from the bottom to the top. Not only was she raised with money, but she was also raised with ambition.

Delphine is the director and executive vice president of Louis Vuitton after obtaining her business degree at the London School of Economics. She has since began working with a great many other companies and created an international competition for young fashion designers.

Vanisha is the daughter of Indian steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal. She will be the world’s wealthiest heiress when her father passes his company, ArcelorMittal to her. She also stands to inherit the 34% of company equity possessed by her father. When she married Amit Bhatia, she was said to have had the second most expensive wedding in history.

Liliane Bettencourt heads up L’Oreal, the biggest cosmetics and hair care company in the world. She has been at war with her daughter, screwed over by Bernie Madoff and the subject of an affair with a man of whom she bequeathed gifts worth over a billion dollars. At the age of 93, she is still the principal shareholder at L’Oreal and holds shares in Nestle.
