2. Hunger crisis
This picture was snapped by the photojournalist, Kevin Carter, back in 1993. The photojournalist even received the Pulitzer Prize for his work. Many didn´t take too kindly to his work as they thought that it would have been better if had he offered the sick child some food. Fast forward to the present and the socio-economic situation in Africa is still the same. The so-called ¨Civilized World¨ is definitely not doing enough to resolve this crisis.
